Add my email to Mail on iPhone

Add your professional email account to Mail on your iPhone. Then you can send and receive business emails from your smartphone.

Open the Mail app

  • New users: Tap add an email address.
    • Existing users: Open settings > Tap password & accounts > Tap add account.

Choosing the right application

  • Scroll down and click on the Other option.

  • Tap add mail account.

Enter your email address

  • Enter your display name, email address, password and description; for description we suggest using your display name once again and tap Next.

  • This article walks you through the IMAP set up.
    • Select account type, tap IMAP. (Although POP can work, these instructions use IMAP.)

Incoming mail server (IMAP)

  • Edit the incoming mail server name, Username is your email address and enter your Password.

Outgoing mail server (SMTP)

  • Edit the outgoing mail server name, Username is your email address and enter your Password and tap Next.

Setup complete

  • Your Mail app auto-discovers your email account settings and loads your emails.
    • Exit the Settings app and tap Mail to open the app, your email is on your iPhone and you’re good to go!
